Onboarding Requirements



Before configuring Pitney Bowes in techSHIP, gather the required credentials and verify the required account settings. 



Information to be Provided



The following credentials and data points are used to establish the connection. Ensure the applicable items are available before starting the setup:

API keyUsed only when the Baseline Account is configured with Own API key. Provided from the Pitney Bowes account used for the legacy or custom credential setup.
API secretUsed only when the Baseline Account is configured with Own API key. Provided from the Pitney Bowes account used for the legacy or custom credential setup.
Shipper ID
Provided by Pitney Bowes. Each merchant has a unique Shipper ID used when requesting transactions.

   

Settings to be Verified



The following account configurations must be validated to prevent errors during the connection setup or the shipping process:

Missing or incorrect Shipper ID or legacy/custom credentials may prevent the Baseline Account connection from being configured or used to process shipments.

Create one Baseline Account for each Pitney Bowes provider/code that must be used. There is no main Pitney Bowes plugin code that rates across all providers.
