You can upgrade a Sales or Fulfillment Channel from a Deprecated to a Current version. This allows you to take advantage of its newest features, updated documentation, and continued support.

WARNING
: All older stable versions of Beta Channels are listed as Deprecated. Current Beta and non-Beta Channels are listed as Current.

To learn about the supported features of each Current Channel version, refer to:

I. HOW UPGRADING WORKS

When upgrading a Channel, techOMS converts your settings based on differences between the Deprecated and Current versions. Some settings are kept as-is, while others are adjusted or replaced depending on their availability and type.

The table below summarizes how settings are handled during this process:

II. UPGRADING A CHANNEL

NOTE
: Before proceeding, ensure you are operating at the correct Vendor/Warehouse.

To Upgrade a Sales or Fulfillment Channel:

1. Click Channels from the left menu under the Sales or Fulfillment Channels section.

2. Select the Deprecated Channels you want to upgrade.

3. Press Maintenance.

4. Click on Upgrade Version.

A pop-up message will display the upgrade operation result.

WARNING: After upgrading, review the Channel settings, as some default or merged values may differ from your needs.

Pay special attention to interdependent values (e.g., for Camelot Fulfillment Channels, the default Volume may need to be adjusted to align with the Size setting). For more details, see How to manage Fulfillment Channels Advanced settings [Step-by-Step guide].
